sno daze

So in case you haven't noticed, most of the country seems to covered in Satan's ice cream (SNOW). Right now there is about 2 1/2 to 3 feet of snow on the ground, which is insane and highly abnormal for the Washington DC area! As a result of being snowed in and not being in school AND only working part time, I've made some jewelry! I'm pretty inept when it comes to DIY type projects, so this is a big/little accomplishment for me! One of the pieces I made was an earring just like this one from La Dama. I plan on adding some thicker, longer chains to it in the future. As for now, I'm pretty pleased with myself.

hardware, part two

Some off-kilter jewelry pieces for your enjoyment, all from La Dama [most of their jewelry is handmade or even made to order]...This ear tassel thang WILL BE MINE.

Personally, I think this would look amazing with the long sleeve AA U neck dress (preferably in black).

An octopus for Claudia.

I'm usually not one to wear much jewelry. This will have to change... I'm working on it...

quick post before I head off to the beach...

So kickass, I love old school Madonna forever & alwaysI thought I'd post this for no apparent reason, other than the fact that I just stumbled across it on the interwebs and I had not seen it before...

Alsoooooo, When I get back to Richmond I fully intend on studding SOMETHING in my wardrobe. I came across this tutorial from PARK & CUBE and I can't wait until I get the chance to do this! MUST. PURCHASE. STUDS.

But, what to stud? The bag above from the tutorial is fab, but I'm thinking I might stud a pair of shoes...

...as such

I bought a pair of ballet pink oxford/jazz shoes from H&M a few weeks ago, I may have to go back to see if they have any black ones left, since they will be soft enough to puncture.

Yes/yes?
